Tidbits of submission

So I’ve been reflecting and gaining knowledge on what it means to submit from a woman’s standpoint.

Word of advice to men: if you tell a female “NO” and she then in turn tries to “twist your arm” and make you change your mind, then what you need to do is turn around and take off running! She is not able to respect your wishes nor respect you. Don’t end up having a female come singing to you: and you, and you, and you, you’re gonna love me!

(Ephesians 5:33) 33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

(Proverbs 19:13) 13 A foolish son is the ruin of his father,
And the contentions of a wife are a continual dripping.

I was reminded …

I was reminded of this scripture:
(Proverbs 13:12) 12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

We can wait and wait, and expect things to change or to occur in our life, but yet have to endure the work of patience. As we endure the work of patience we tend to grow weary because what we expect to happen has not happened. We lose hope, we lose faith, and we begin to doubt and give up on what could and would be.

Yet, we must also remember (Galatians 6:9)9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Trust in the Lord and know that He does not forsake those who love Him. Hang on to Him, His Word, and know that He is true. Hold on. He will always come through for you. Trust and believe. He will make all things new! Just keep on honoring Him.

If you treat Hi…

If you treat Him like He is your husband then He will bring you your husband/ wife.

(Isaiah 54:5-6)
5 For your Maker is your husband,
The Lord of hosts is His name;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel;
He is called the God of the whole earth.
6 For the Lord has called you
Like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit,
Like a youthful wife when you were refused,”
Says your God.

When you can fi…

When you can finally see the heart of man rather than his outward appearance you are letting go of all things that are not of God and becoming more like Him. To see a man’s heart you see that he is humble and dedicated to do whatever he can to make a difference in the world regardless of what sets him back.

(1 Samuel 16:7) 7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Is it me or are…

Is it me or are Christians throwing up the victim card a lot more than usual? Wallowing in self pity and sorrow. Last I checked Jesus died on the cross for my sins so I have nothing pity and sorrow over. I am forgiven. There are too many Christians out here forgetting their salvation and allowing the enemy to make them a victim rather than wearing their armor of God and being a victor. Lets get it together and tell the enemy who we are: WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD.
