When you can finally see the heart of man rather than his outward appearance you are letting go of all things that are not of God and becoming more like Him. To see a man’s heart you see that he is humble and dedicated to do whatever he can to make a difference in the world regardless of what sets him back.
(1 Samuel 16:7) 7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
The prayers we believe that God doesn’t answer are still answered, just not by Him. God hears our prayers and if He doesn’t find it fitting He will turn things around in our favor. We have to be willing to turn in the direction that God is answering our prayers. If we continue hanging unto that “unanswered” prayer then Satan will answer it for us and will bring hell with it.
16 Come and hear, all you who fear God,
And I will declare what He has done for my soul.
17 I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was extolled with my tongue.
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart,
The Lord will not hear.
19 But certainly God has heard me;
He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Blessed be God,
Who has not turned away my prayer,
Nor His mercy from me!
(John 7-10) 7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Shouting at the top of my lungs “so grateful!!!!!” God is so wonderful!
Letting go of anger and negativity in your heart is like opening up an old chest to find dust and dead bugs in it. You and others become disgusted by it and don’t want to deal with it, but it has to be cleaned up and rid of it’s filth in order to restore that which is pleasant.
(Mark 11:25-26) 25 “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
(Hebrews 12:14-15) 14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;
