I was reminded …

I was reminded of this scripture:
(Proverbs 13:12) 12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

We can wait and wait, and expect things to change or to occur in our life, but yet have to endure the work of patience. As we endure the work of patience we tend to grow weary because what we expect to happen has not happened. We lose hope, we lose faith, and we begin to doubt and give up on what could and would be.

Yet, we must also remember (Galatians 6:9)9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Trust in the Lord and know that He does not forsake those who love Him. Hang on to Him, His Word, and know that He is true. Hold on. He will always come through for you. Trust and believe. He will make all things new! Just keep on honoring Him.

The best thing …

The best thing God does for us is providing us the opportunity be transformed into the new man by the renewing of our minds. Having a renewed mind is like a refreshing ice cold drink on a hot summer day for the spirit.

(Romans 12:2) 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

With new beginings we bec…

With new beginings we become filled with fear because we don’t know what to expect. We start thinking of what could happen and even allow past experiences to hinder us, but in order for us to trust and allow God to work in our lives for the better we must get over our fear and put our faith, hope and trust in God. I for one am experiencing this and have fear in my heart, but I’m ready to let go of this fear and continue to trust in God that He will see me through.

(1 John 4:18) 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

“When one door closes, a…

“When one door closes, another one opens.” Sometimes we want to hang on to what was behind that last door of opportunity rather turn around and see that there is another door waiting to be opened. God knows the plans of our life and He will not forsake you. Just close that door. It will always be there in some form of way or may just reopen to you all together at a later time, but don’t ignore that new door that has been presented to you. Otherwise you’ll miss out on that opportunity and lose the old.

(Isaiah 43:18-19) 18 “Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.
