The prayers we believe that God doesn’t answer are still answered, just not by Him. God hears our prayers and if He doesn’t find it fitting He will turn things around in our favor. We have to be willing to turn in the direction that God is answering our prayers. If we continue hanging unto that “unanswered” prayer then Satan will answer it for us and will bring hell with it.
16 Come and hear, all you who fear God,
And I will declare what He has done for my soul.
17 I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was extolled with my tongue.
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart,
The Lord will not hear.
19 But certainly God has heard me;
He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Blessed be God,
Who has not turned away my prayer,
Nor His mercy from me!
(John 7-10) 7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
When things are not in alignment with God’s plan we have to remember that God is always a provider and He always makes a way. Even when it comes to the things we desire to have that we can’t have.
The only perfect thing in this world in the perfect will of God.
(Psalm 138:8) 8 The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.
Never get too busy or distracted that you don’t include God in your schedule. He is never to busy or distracted to include you in His schedule.
(Psalm 78:7-8) 7 That they may set their hope in God,
And not forget the works of God,
But keep His commandments;
8 And may not be like their fathers,
A stubborn and rebellious generation,
A generation that did not set its heart aright,
And whose spirit was not faithful to God.
(John 15:5) 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
When I first arrived out to Louisiana I was all by myself and it felt so surreal to be several states away from home and my eyes were being opened to many possiblities and opportunities. Being in a new place just made me feel so free, free a bird. And I felt a peace within me and thought about a tattoo that would represent that feeling of peace; “Freedom” with bird wings, but not just any wings, dove wings (the bird of peace). I always wanted a tattoo, but never stuck to an idea, was never up to the process or having the funds so I would put it off or just forget about it. Lets fast forward this to about 2 years later (present date), I went and saw the movie Total Recall a few weeks back and a scene in the movie showed a woman with a full back “neon” tattoo. I was amazed and it brought back the idea of the freedom tattoo. I thought about it and decided to get it. So I did my research, went to some tattoo shops, prayed about it, and got some little input and decided to get it for my (physical) birthday (which is tomorrow). So here it is. My first tattoo.
A scripture that seemed to fit pretty well to what my tattoo represent.
(Psalm 55:6-7) 6 So I said, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove!
I would fly away and be at rest.
7 Indeed, I would wander far off,
And remain in the wilderness.
